Ambras Castle [ENA] At Ambras Castle Innsbruck, the exhibition The Blood of Medusa: The Corals of Ambras Castle transforms a material long associated with luxury, myth, protection, and scientific curiosity into the subject of an exceptionally resonant art-historical narrative. Set within a castle whose collections emerged from the Renaissance passion for collecting the extraordinary, the exhibition draws on approximately 50 coral objects assembled by Archduke Ferdinand II. Swarovski Kristallwelten [ENA] Only 20 kilometres from Innsbruck, in the Tyrolean town of Wattens, Swarovski Kristallwelten offers one of Austria’s most distinctive encounters with art, design, fantasy, and spectacle. It is not a museum in the conventional sense, nor simply a branded visitor centre.
